Stamp and Post is a product of many years of interest, collection, and examination of stamps and postal ephemera. The items now available as prints are all small objects previously sitting in old cigar boxes, stuck in glassine envelopes in drawers, and scattered through art supplies folders.
While locked down in London in 2020 we began to look more closely at the things around us, wanting to see new and distant places as restrictions limited our physical travels to small areas of exercise around our homes.
We made these first for ours walls, to see them bigger, and make them into something new and big and colourful. After doing the work to edit them, clean up the edges, make them able to be blown up to poster sizes, it seemed like they should be shared as well.
